Job summary

Nutre Meals, part of ALV Hospitality Group, seeks an Operations Manager to lead kitchen, warehouse, sanitation and assembly, ensuring production schedules, quality and safety standards are met. You will supervise department supervisors, drive continuous improvement, and manage staffing, training, and performance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• 3+ years of production leadership or management experience.
• Experience supervising production teams, including supervisors or team leads.
• Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and manufacturing quality systems; PCQI or HACCP certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage production schedules, labor utilization, and operational performance.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in food science, engineering, business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct kitchen, warehouse, sanitation and assembly operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and performance objectives.
• Monitor production performance, including efficiency, downtime, labor utilization, yield, waste, and product quality.
• Oversee receiving, storage, inventory accuracy, FIFO, and on-time shipments.
• Identify root causes of operational challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Lead daily production meetings and communicate goals, safety priorities, and operational updates.
• Provide coaching, training, and professional development for staff.
