Job summary

Nutre Meal Plans is seeking an Operations Manager to lead kitchen, warehouse, sanitation and assembly. You will drive production schedules, ensure food safety and quality, and manage department supervisors in a fast-paced plant.

This role requires 5+ years in manufacturing with 3+ in leadership, GMP/HACCP experience, and a bachelor's in a related field. You will develop teams, optimize processes, and partner with QA to maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• 3+ years of production leadership or management experience.
• Experience supervising production teams, including supervisors or team leads.
• PCQI or HACCP certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in food science, engineering, business, or related field preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct kitchen, warehouse, sanitation and assembly operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Manage workflows, staffing, equipment utilization, and resources across four departments.
• Monitor production performance: efficiency, downtime, labor, yield, waste, and quality.
• Oversee receiving, inventory accuracy, FIFO, and on-time shipment of orders.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead daily production meetings and communicate goals, staffing needs, safety priorities.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, SQF, SSOP and FDA/USDA compliance.
