Qualifications

• 10 years previous management experience in a food grade operation.
• Background in packaging facility.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of plant operation procedures and business system software applications.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Previous supervisory experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop manufacturing plans and programs toward budgeted unit cost and output objectives.
• Coordinate activities of all manufacturing functional areas to assure continuity towards plant goals and meet customer quality requirements.
• Sustain production capacity aligned with sales volume; develop contingency plans and minimize inventory levels.
• Develop and track the annual operating budget for measurement towards objectives.
• Maintain awareness of production methods, formulations, analytical techniques, and regulatory requirements; implement action plans.
• Maintain and improve plant assets; execute capital improvement programs to improve efficiency and meet volume needs.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and lead personnel; create a team-based environment with open communication.
• Implement and manage safety and regulatory programs for long-term safe operation.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Quality Assurance to establish quality specifications for incoming materials.
• Assist QA in development of new products/processes and document results.
• Manage inventory of off-spec materials and rework as needed.
• Maintain production log data and implement OEE system to maximize performance.
