Job summary

C3 AI is seeking an Industry Solution Leader for Food & Agriculture to design and deliver enterprise AI solutions in food manufacturing. You will own strategy, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure measurable business value for clients.

The role emphasizes hands-on industry knowledge, data-driven problem solving, and leadership across engineering, operations, and executive stakeholders. Domestic travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, maintenance, or consulting.
• Experience in asset-intensive industries like manufacturing, energy, or chemicals.
• Proven ability to improve equipment reliability and production performance.
• Strong understanding of industrial equipment and production processes.
• Experience with industrial data and sensor/time-series data.
• Experience with process historians and analytics platforms.
• Ability to lead complex, customer-facing technical engagements.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall solution strategy, technical direction, and delivery outcomes for assigned engagements.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing solution leader and domain expert.
• Identify and quantify high-impact business opportunities across equipment and production metrics.
• Translate challenges into AI, ML, optimization, and software problems.
• Lead engagements through use case definition, requirements gathering, and deployment.
• Apply engineering and industry expertise to challenge assumptions.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
• Work with customer teams to validate requirements and business impact.
• Guide interpretation and use of industrial data and process signals.
• Maintain accountability for solution quality and executive communication.
• Partner with product management to scale solutions across assets and facilities.
• Support sales during opportunity assessment and define deployment plans.
• Develop repeatable industry methodologies and best practices.
