Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Lab Technician in the Media, PA area to join a Food & Beverage company. The Laboratory Analyst will perform laboratory testing to provide accurate, timely data supporting manufacturing, and will use discretionary judgment to take corrective actions per QA protocols.

Key duties include collecting and testing dairy, beverage, and juice samples; recording data; reporting non-conformances; maintaining GMP programs; and supporting QA managers with training and testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Food Science preferred.
• Experience with wet chemistry, microbiological testing, and sensory analysis.
• Knowledge of LIMS and data integrity practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing including wet chemistry, sensory, and microbiological analyses.
• Record and evaluate test data to identify trends and non-conformances.
• Maintain GMP compliance and complete lab audits.
