Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field
• 7-10 years in a supervisory or project management role within a laboratory or equivalent
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Monitor project progress and deliver status reports, timelines, issues, risks and action items to stakeholders and team members
• Develop, maintain, and participate in project plans for lab implementation of LIMS and related enhancements
• Assist in acquisition activities and lead LIIMS integration projects to ensure deliverables are met
• Coordinate implementation of quality software platform across all food laboratories and communicate enhancements
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements within LIMS; track KPI's, quality parameters, errors and progress
• Mentor and train employees on LIMS functions; assess training needs across the business
