Job summary

Masonicare in Newington, CT is seeking a Food & Hospitality Associate (Day Shift) to set up and assemble meals for residents and provide attentive service during meals.

This part-time weekend role requires good communication, a neat uniform, and reliable attendance; training provided. Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays, 6 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Education: Some high school.
• Experience: On-the-job-training.
• Knowledge of dining room systems and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and assemble various food to be served to residents.
• During the meal service, meet residents’ needs and serve foods in an attractive, professional manner.
• Wait on tables in a timely manner and ensure resident needs are met promptly and accurately.
• Interact with residents, families and coworkers in a professional manner.
• Report to work on time and in proper uniform (clean shirt, bow tie, apron, name tag, black slacks and shoes, and a pen).
• Attend all mandatory education events.
