Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. in West Memphis, AR is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and related equipment.

Under general supervision, you will load/unload freight, stack and store merchandise, pick orders, check for accuracy and damage, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while meeting production standards. The role may require overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and RF scanners is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment.
• Efficiently stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, and check for damage or infestation.
• Operate forklifts in compliance with OSHA standards to promote safety.
• Maintain production standards while keeping a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, and forklift battery changes as required.
