Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and other material-handling equipment.

Under supervision, you will load/unload freight, stack and store merchandise, inspect for damage, and help maintain a clean, orderly facility while meeting production goals and safety standards. The role requires basic GED, ability to work varied shifts including overtime, and a focus on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load/unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check accuracy and damage, label, sort, wrap, and repack as directed by management.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely in compliance with OSHA.
• Meet production standards while keeping a clean, orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift maintenance as needed.
