Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a Set-ups employee for our blending department in a warehouse environment. The role involves pulling together ingredients for batches, using an electric sit-down forklift, and requires basic computer and scanner knowledge with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment, including standup forklift and load move system.

Responsibilities

• Consistently select correct ingredients and provide accurate amounts of bulk ingredients per batch requirements.
• Provide accurate weights of partial ingredients per batch requirements.
• Stage ingredients on pallets for blending.
• Follow established Allergen Control Program Procedures as it applies to shipping, receiving and warehousing.
• Must be able lift up to 75 pounds continuously.
• Must maintain integrity of raw materials.
• Must assist in inventory and cycle counts.
• Must follow good manufacturing practices, and be responsible for sanitation of assigned area.
• Must follow all Safety Rules.
• Cooperates in maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
