Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to comfortably operate standard warehouse equipment, including proficient operation of standup forklift and load move system.

Responsibilities

• Stage ingredients on pallets for blending.

• Must maintain integrity of raw materials
• Must assist in inventory and cycle counts
• Must follow good manufacturing practices, and be responsible for sanitation of assigned area.
• Must follow all Safety Rules

Newly Weds Foods provides premium ingredients and food coatings to some of the biggest brand names in the country. We are looking for a set-ups employee in our blending department. Set-ups pulls together the ingredients for batches using an electric sit-down fork lift. This position also requires some degree of computer and scanner knowledge as well as attention to detail.

Work Environment

The job is performed in the warehouse and production areas where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles emanating from ingredients being used, and will be in the presence of or otherwise operating machinery.
