Job summary

Joe Leo Fine Tex Mex is seeking a Food/Drink Runner to deliver food and beverages between the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring guests receive timely service. You will help maintain smooth operations, handle dishware, and support guests with requests in a fast-paced Tex-Mex setting.

Ideal candidates are available for varied shifts, including weekends, and possess a positive attitude, good communication, and basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices to uphold a high-quality guest

Qualifications

• Excellent oral communication and friendly guest interaction are essential.
• Ability to multitask and manage moving parts in a busy service environment.
• Understand hygiene and food safety standards to protect guests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks from kitchen/bar to guests’ tables quickly and accurately.
• Communicate food changes or allergies to kitchen staff.
• Ensure courses are served at correct temperatures and in proper sequence.
• Assist guests with refills and extra requests as needed.
• Clear and reset tables, returning items to service areas safely.
• Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items.
