Job description

Remote. Live anywhere in the area / sales territory CA, NV, AZ.

Purveyor of 40+ premium, all-natural sweet and savory flavors, purees, concentrates, and blends, sold through distributors to foodservice, hospitality, manufacturers, and consumers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the CA, NV, and AZ territory.
  2. Manage current and develop new distributors in the territory.
  3. Identify revenue-generating opportunities with distributor accounts.
  4. Develop new business in the territory by identifying new distributors, utilizing sales reporting, online research, event leads, and other resources.
  5. Utilize Salesforce to capture all customer engagement.
  6. Work with the Director of Sales to review, analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual region sales and budget inputs for the territory.
  7. Review communication strategies to support operational needs.
  8. Manage regional manufacturer leads and development.
  9. Supervise the West Sales Account Manager.
  10. Travel approximately 50%. Airport accessibility required.

Qualifications:

  1. BA / BS degree.
  2. 3+ years of experience in sales to foodservice distributors.
  3. Strong sales and account management skills.
  4. Negotiating skills with strong organizational, time, and project management abilities.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and working within budgets.
  6. Experience with CRM software (Salesforce.com or similar).
  7. Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Compensation includes a base salary of $80K plus a 20% bi-annual bonus, 100% company-paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, EAP, 401K, profit sharing (~12% annually), 11 paid holidays, vacation, a company laptop, docking station, cell phone, company credit card, and mileage reimbursement. A background check, functionality test, and drug screening are required upon hiring.
