Job summary

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana is seeking a Supply Chain Support Coordinator to provide operational, inventory, and customer service support to the Supply Chain Team. You will assist with order processing, inventory management, agency distributions, and food safety compliance to ensure timely distribution of food resources.

The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification a plus.
• Experience in customer service, logistics, warehousing and data management is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing incoming orders and creating new orders daily.
• Monitor warehouse inventory levels and manage perishable commodities to prevent expirations.
• Coordinate gleaning and food recovery to maximize donation utilization and timely distribution.
• Support agency distributions and special requests with Network Relations.
• Assist with product receipting, tracking, scheduling, and reporting of food acquisitions.
• Attend staff and departmental meetings and provide backup support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines per applicable standards.
