Dollar General is seeking a capable individual to manage the Food Department and act as Manager on Duty as needed. You will oversee inventory, store presentation, and customer service while ensuring safety and compliance with food handling rules.

Qualifications

Perform basic mathematical calculations.
Know cash handling procedures including deposit control.

Responsibilities

When manager on duty, authorize refunds and overrides; count register and deposit money.
Maintain cash accountability and adhere to cash control procedures.
Manage store in the absence of Store Manager/Assistant Manager.
Assist in training employees in stocking, rotation, and presentation of food items.
Ensure accurate pricing, signage, and shelf presentation across the department.
