Job summary

Walmart in Apple Valley, MN is seeking a store leader to drive sales, supervise teams, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will coach associates, manage budgets, and implement merchandising, operations, and community initiatives to meet company goals.

You'll hire, train, mentor, set clear expectations, and promote a culture of belonging while aligning with OBW service standards. The role includes planning, forecasting, and ensuring shrink is controlled in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University is preferred.
• Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports including mentoring, hiring, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by training, coaching, and feedback to associates.
• Drive store financial performance by managing P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Ensure customer service standards via OBW service model and community initiatives.
• Promote a culture of belonging and inclusivity while aligning operations with company values.
