Job summary

Marriott Crabtree Raleigh is hiring a Restaurant Supervisor to lead our Food and Beverage team at the Raleigh, NC location. Starting rate: $17-20/hr. This role focuses on supervising service staff and maintaining beverage cost controls in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant environment.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in hospitality, strong communication skills, and a hands-on approach. Micros experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth within Concord-managed properties.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role in a full-service restaurant.
• Knowledge of beverage cost and sequence of service.
• Hands-on attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to Bar and Lounge servers, bartenders, bussers, steward and hostesses
• Assist the manager to order all liquor for the hotel to maintain required inventories and to comply with all NC ABC laws, rules and regulations.
• Maintains liquor cost and implements inventory controls to keep cost within budget.
• Provides associates with the tools and equipment they need to do their jobs.
• Takes immediate action on problems that are encountered in the kitchen or restaurant.
• Participates in weekly staff meetings, weekly food and beverage meetings, monthly kitchen inventory.
• Ensures all food served is of high quality, properly prepared according to recipe and is expedited to all outlets in a smooth and efficient manner.
• Passionate to help in all areas of food service and as needed in other areas of the hotel operation.
