Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) seeks a Food & Beverage Supervisor for Gold Dust West Elko to oversee the FOH department, ensuring high service standards and efficient staffing. The role includes supervising on-shift staff, coordinating schedules, and training new hires.

The position requires F&B knowledge, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and TIPS certification. Nevada Gaming Board registration and Bard Card are required, with a driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• TIPS Certification required (training provided).
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Nevada Gaming Board Registration and Bard Card.
• Knowledge of F&B experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer all aspects of the food and beverage department for FOH food and beverage facilities.
• Make periodic inspections of all areas responsible for.
• Prepare and coordinate the periodical performance review of assigned personnel.
• Establish and maintain effective channels of communication upward, downward, and laterally.
• Scheduling weekly work schedules and assigning work areas to all FOH food and beverage staff.
• Hiring and work with the department trainer to train new hires.
• Follow up with the service standards of the department.
• Supervise staff on shift and ensure proper staffing levels to provide high service with minimum labor hours.
• Oversees FOH restaurant/bar staff in the performance of their duties.
