Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) seeks a Hotel Sales Manager for Gold Dust West Carson City. Develop sales strategies, promote hotel sales and banquets, and drive revenue for group bookings. Will travel for site visits, trade shows and networking events as needed.

Must be fluent in English with excellent guest service, communication and decision-making skills; 5+ years in hotel sales and a degree in Marketing or related field preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Hotel Sales experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred, but work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
• Must be fluent in English; strong guest service, communication and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to promote hotel sales and banquets.
• Meet or exceed revenue and room night goals for hotel group bookings.
• Maintain relationships with hotel group leaders and handle issues during stays.
• Travel for site visits, trade shows and networking events as required.
• Coordinate with operating and marketing departments to ensure smooth collaboration.
• Maintain all sales records and lead management in the hotel CRM/PMS.
