Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) is seeking a Restaurant Server at Gold Dust West Elko to provide friendly, efficient guest service and menu knowledge in a lively gaming environment.

The full-time, hourly position includes tips, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities within the JEI family, with emphasis on professional service and teamwork.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Cash handling and basic math skills.
Knowledge of Infogenesis and Patron systems is helpful.
Eligibility to work in the United States and Nevada Gaming Control Board registration is required.

Responsibilities

Familiarity with all menu items, prices, hours, and promotions.
Maintain a clean work area and present professional appearance.
Provide service to guests while dining.
Assist busser in pre-bussing tables.
Set up or close wait station.
Clean stations and tables.
Complete daily side work.
Assist guests with questions about activities on the property.
Practice TIPS awareness and responsible serving of alcohol.
