Job description

Opportunity: Food and Beverage Supervisor

Supervise the daily operations of food and beverage outlets and services, including food quality, customer satisfaction, associate schedules, and performance, in accordance with established restaurant and guest service standards.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they perform according to brand or hotel standards and HHM core values.
  2. Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction, ensuring food is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specifications.
  3. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards for guests and associates.
  4. Interact with guests to obtain feedback on service and food quality.
  5. Perform service functions during high volume or staffing shortages.
  6. Assist with maintaining proper inventory levels of food and beverage supplies.
  7. Ensure staff complies with all regulations related to serving alcoholic beverages.
  8. Ensure all equipment is operational; report malfunctions and follow up on repairs.
  9. Follow sustainability practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
  10. Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
  11. Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements

  1. Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or banquet setting, with a background in food service at the server level.
  2. Knowledge of bar service and liquor inventory controls.
  3. Experience with Micro’s point of sales system is strongly preferred.

Work Environment and Context

  1. Work schedule varies, including holidays and weekends.
  2. Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
