Embassy Suites Louisville Downtown Hotels is hiring a Full-time Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead the guest-facing team and ensure top-notch service in our on-site venues. You will supervise associates, manage food and beverage operations, and coordinate banquet and catering events with managers.

Ideal candidates bring supervisory experience, a proactive mindset, and strong interpersonal skills to deliver consistent, attentive guest service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The company is currently hiring a Full time, Food & Beverage Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The ability to perform initial and ongoing training of associates
• Supervising and directing the prompt, efficient and friendly serving of all food and beverage
• Controlling food and beverage inventory to ensure the smooth operation of the Food and Beverage
• Working quickly and independently to resolve operational issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow through with appropriate manager(s)
• Attending BEO meetings and Mangers meeting
• Overseeing house catering functions, banquets and executing
• Captain Reports for all banquets
• Meet and greet clients for every event in banquets
• Responsible for making the function space visually appealing
• Supervise events and team members throughout service
• Responsible for the proper usage and good working order of all equipment, furniture and fixtures in the Banquet and Catering section in the shift assigned.
• Guide the Banquet Servers in set up of tables and place settings
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer needs are met
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills
• Have the ability to make connections with people, motivating and inspiring them to achieve results.
• Demonstrate strong initiative and self-direction.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and result orientated.
• Ability to understand, quickly react and motivate others to adapt to the changing organization.
• Supervisory experience
• High school or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Good computer skills including word and excel
• 2+ years of hotel experience or related field preferred
