Job summary

Embassy Suites Louisville Downtown Hotels is seeking a Full-time Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead banquet and dining operations, train associates, and ensure exceptional guest service. This role requires supervisory experience, strong guest relations, and solid computer skills for a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• The ability to perform initial and ongoing training of associates.
• Supervising and directing the prompt, efficient and friendly serving of all food and beverage.
• Controlling food and beverage inventory to ensure the smooth operation of the Food and Beverage.
• Working quickly and independently to resolve operational issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow through with appropriate manager(s).
• Attending BEO meetings and Mangers meeting.
• Overseeing house catering functions, banquets and executing.
• Captain Reports for all banquets.
• Meet and greet clients for every event in banquets.
• Responsible for making the function space visually appealing.
• Supervise events and team members throughout service.
• Responsible for the proper usage and good working order of all equipment, furniture and fixtures in the Banquet and Catering section in the shift assigned.
• Guide the Banquet Servers in set up of tables and place settings.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer needs are met.
• All other duties as assigned.
