Job Description

This position is responsible for the proper training and supervision of all personnel. The restaurant supervisor is to ensure prompt, courteous service that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage assigned shift and assist in overall department management.
  2. Supervise department operations as outlined in the manager’s job description.
  3. Complete environmental checklists for the dining room.
  4. Monitor liquor par levels and order supplies daily.
  5. Hold pre-meal staff meetings.
  6. Implement and follow up on training procedures.
  7. Handle guest comments and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  8. Communicate with guests and gather feedback.
  9. Maintain presence on the floor during peak hours.
  10. Observe, teach, and correct staff service techniques.
  11. Review food preparation and beverage presentation.
  12. Maintain the condition of dining areas, lobby lounge, minibar, and room service.
  13. Assist the manager with scheduling, weekly payroll, and forecasting.
  14. Participate in interviewing potential new employees.
  15. Prepare maintenance requests and follow-up.
  16. Monitor food and liquor requisitions and manage waste.
  17. Check bar controls, manage shot glass usage, and ensure bottles are fully utilized.
Qualifications
  1. At least 1 year of experience in Food and Beverage supervision or management preferred.
  2. Ability to manage deadlines effectively.
  3. Understanding of food and beverage financials, including cost and par controls, is preferred.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  5. Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
  6. Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  7. Knowledge of liquor liability laws and adherence to regulations.
  8. Knowledge of emergency procedures and accident prevention.
  9. Valid TABC and Food Handlers Certifications.
