Job summary

Access Management Group in Fort Myers, FL, seeks a Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee restaurant, bar, and banquet operations and to cover the F&B Manager’s duties when needed.

You will supervise the F&B team, recruit and train staff, ensure top-tier service, and collaborate with HR to maintain high standards and guest satisfaction in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience supervising F&B in a full-service boutique or luxury hotel.
• Proficient computer skills; familiarity with Micros/OpenTable preferred.
• English communication; Spanish desirable.
• Food Handler’s certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant, dining room and function rooms operations.
• Lead F&B team: recruitment, training, performance, development.
• Collaborate with HR and F&B Manager on recruiting and training.
• Motivate staff to deliver excellent guest service.
• Direct and maintain high service standards for guests.
• Identify training opportunities through daily activities.
• Evaluate and improve personnel performance in F&B.

• Coordinate with Sales, Restaurants, Catering for seamless service.

Job Overview: The Food & Beverage Supervisor works closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to oversee Restaurant, Bar, & Banquet functions within the restaurant to ensure we maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and service while covering the Food & Beverage Manager's duties when needed.

Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the management of all aspects of the restaurant, dining room and function rooms
• Overseeing the F&B team including but not limited to: recruitment, training, performance management, and development
• Work closely with Human Resources and Food & Beverage Manager to assist with recruiting, training, and performance management
• Motivates the staff to ensure that guest receives excellent services
• Directs, implements and maintains great service to guests
• Finding training opportunities through daily activities
• Continuously evaluate the performance and encourage improvement of the personnel in the food and beverage department
• Inspire the staff to look at job responsibilities through the guests’ perspectives
• Communicate and collaborate with other hotel departments including Sales, Restaurants, Catering, etc. to ensure seamless guest service and creative solutions to venue and event opportunities

Qualifications/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or Hotel & Restaurant Management is preferred
• Previous food & beverage experience is required. Experience in supervising food & beverage team in a full-service boutique or luxury hotel environment is preferred
• Basic computer skills is required. Prior experience using Microsoft Office and knowledge of standard restaurant and bar operations technology including Micros and Open Table is preferred
• Must be able to communicate professionally in English, both written and verbal. Conversational abilities in Spanish also desired
• Active Food Handler’s certificate is preferred
