Job summary

Woodstock Club in Indianapolis area seeks personable servers to join our Food & Beverage team. You will provide attentive service across à la carte dining and Club events, including weddings and wine dinners, while learning menus and beverage offerings.

Cross-trained staff gain experience in casual and formal dining, with ongoing training and opportunities to advance within the Club. Flexible part-time scheduling and employee meals are offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, professional, and personalized service to members and guests.
• Serve in our à la carte dining areas as well as private and Club events.
• Learn our menus, ingredients, daily features, and beverage offerings.
• Take and accurately enter food and beverage orders.
• Anticipate member and guest needs throughout service.
• Maintain proper table service, pacing, clearing, and resetting standards.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of dining rooms, buffets, bars, and event spaces.

Woodstock Club is looking for personable, dependable, and service-minded individuals to join our Food & Beverage team. Our servers are cross-trained throughout the Club, providing both à la carte dining service and service for weddings, private parties, Club events, wine dinners, and other special functions.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality, wants variety in their work, and is interested in developing strong food, beverage, and service skills in a private club environment.

As part of our Food & Beverage team, you will:

• Provide attentive, professional, and personalized service to members and guests


• Serve in our à la carte dining areas as well as private and Club events


• Learn our menus, ingredients, daily features, and beverage offerings


• Take and accurately enter food and beverage orders


• Anticipate member and guest needs throughout service


• Maintain proper table service, pacing, clearing, and resetting standards


• Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining rooms, buffets, bars, and event spaces


• Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage and culinary teams to create a seamless member experience

Working at Woodstock offers more than a traditional restaurant serving position. Our team gains experience with casual and formal dining, weddings, cocktail receptions, wine dinners, golf events, member celebrations, and large Club functions.

We provide ongoing food, beverage, and service training and cross-train our employees so they can continue developing their skills and taking on additional responsibilities.

• Previous restaurant, banquet, country club, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn


• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of restaurant and event service, including standing for extended periods and carrying service trays and equipment
