Job summary

Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, Wisconsin, is seeking a dependable Receiving Clerk for Food & Beverage Purchasing & Inventory. This part-time role supports the Purchasing & Receiving team by receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing food, beverage, and related supplies with strict FIFO and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, and comfortable working with invoices, purchase orders, and inventory in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving, warehouse, inventory, purchasing, or stockroom roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with quantities, invoices, and inventory.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Familiarity with FIFO and food safety procedures.
• Experience with inventory management or purchasing systems preferred.
• Experience handling food, beverages, or perishable goods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and check in deliveries of food, beverages, liquor, and non-food supplies.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices for quantities, pricing, quality, and condition.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate shortages or damages to departments.
• Store and distribute products per resort procedures; maintain FIFO rotations.
• Date and label perishables; store in compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain clean, organized storage areas and receiving spaces.
• Prepare daily receiving reports and assist with invoice processing.
• Assist with liquor inventory and perpetual inventory control.
• Help with monthly inventory counts and reporting.
