Job summary

Pinehurst, LLC is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to oversee the Country Club F&B purchasing function, ensure food safety and inventory integrity, and maintain lean inventory for cash flow. You will work closely with the Country Club Chef and Manager and handle invoices, POs, and requisitions daily in Eatec.

The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, security of storerooms, and optimization of deliveries and supplier pricing, while upholding safety and sanitation standards across facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have computer knowledge.
• Experience with inventory management and purchasing processes.
• Ability to conduct period and year end inventories with accuracy.
• Ability to perform price comparisons between suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Assure compliance with the Avendra program at all times.
• Fill requisitions with accuracy and in a timely manner.
• Maintain proper level of inventory in accordance with business levels and cash flow.
• Conduct period and year end inventories with focus on accuracy and minimum variances.
• Ensure storeroom and walk-in boxes are secure at all times to protect the food inventory and company investment from loss.
• Maintain a clean and organized storeroom for efficiency and safety.
• Communicate with Country Club Chef and Country Club Manager to keep them informed of any concerns or issues.
• Process invoices, transfers, purchase orders and requisitions in Eatec on a daily basis.
• Forward all invoices with batch sheet to Accounting Office daily.
• Order, maintain, and issue food products to the Country Club kitchens, Pool kitchen and the half way houses.
• Make use of Eatec reports to help you manage the inventory and to identify non-moving items.
• Addition of new food items must have prior approval of the Resort Executive Chef.
• Perform price comparisons between USFOOD and Fresh Point on produce and cheeses.
• Strive to limit the number of deliveries per week when business levels are down in order to maintain Avendra highest bracket
• Purge the inventory system no less then weekly.
• Report waste and abuse of company assets to Director of Purchasing.
