The Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks an administrative support specialist to assist the MWR Food and Beverage program in Key West, Florida. The role emphasizes customer service, inventory control, and precise recordkeeping to ensure smooth operation.

You will help with daily admin tasks, POS sales processing, data entry, scheduling, and event support, coordinating with staff to meet program standards and provide excellent service to patrons and installation partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative, clerical, and operational support.
• Experience handling cash and sales transactions.
• Ability to operate office equipment and basic software.
• Maintain records and track data, including inventory and financial accountability.
• Strong communication with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Ability to follow policies and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and operational support to MWR Food and Beverage programs.
• Assist with daily administrative tasks to support MWR areas.
• Process sales transactions using POS systems.
• Ensure accuracy of daily sales and complete activity reports.
• Enter data to track patron usage, sales, inventories, schedules.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with counts.
• Support inventory control including ordering, receiving, stocking.
• Prepare purchase requests, invoices, and reports.
• Provide event support, including setup and on-site assistance.
• Coordinate scheduling and staffing information.
• Monitor facilities and report safety concerns.
• Use office software to support daily operations.
• Disseminate program information and promotional materials.
• Maintain professional interaction with patrons and staff.
