Job summary

University of Notre Dame is seeking a dining operations leader to oversee daily meal periods and in-room dining, ensuring an elevated guest experience on game days and campus events.

You will coordinate a diverse team, monitor service quality, and maintain standards across areas including beverage, atmosphere, and guest satisfaction. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with 5–6 years in food & beverage management and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of progressive experience in food and beverage operations, including at least 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing a large or complex team of employees.
• Experience managing food and beverage outlets or high-volume hospitality operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily dining operations across Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Late Night, and In-Room Dining.
• Direct and coordinate dining room floor with hosts, servers, bartenders, culinary teams and partners.
• Monitor service pace, beverage quality, guest satisfaction, and atmosphere.
• Address guest needs and service concerns promptly and professionally.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, inventory, and labor costs to meet demands and standards.
• Ensure compliance with University hospitality, safety, sanitation, and food standards.
