Job summary

The Food & Beverage Manager role at Tysons Social Tavern, inside the DoubleTree by Hilton McLean Tysons, leads restaurant and catering operations in McLean, VA. You will manage staffing, schedules, beverage compliance, and financial performance while coordinating with hotel and restaurant teams.

The position requires 3–5 years of progressive F&B experience and at least 1 year in supervision, plus Serve Safe, TIPS, or CARE certifications.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of entertainment-industry experience in a high-volume nightclub, bar, lounge, or restaurant.
• At least one year of supervisory or management experience within progressive food and beverage work.
• Food Handler's Certification, or the ability to obtain it.
• Responsible alcohol-service certification, or the ability to obtain it within six months.

Responsibilities

• Lead food and beverage outlet operations across restaurant and catering service, including staffing, scheduling, and service standards.
• Manage revenue and expense control, quality inspections, safety checks, and coordination with service teams.
• Address guest complaints directly and maintain client relationships through regular communication.
• Support restaurant administration, facilities, payroll, and POS functions as needed.
• Coordinate beverage compliance and service standards, health regulations, liquor laws, sanitation, and product standards.
• Collaborate with culinary, front-of-house, events, sales, marketing, and guest-relations teams.
