Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to ensure the highest level of service and unforgettable dining experiences. You will lead a team, set standards, and foster a collaborative environment.

You will train and coach staff, manage guest relations, ensure wine/spirits knowledge, and control labor and expenses while maintaining impeccable facilities. A degree in hotel/restaurant mgmt and 2–3 years of F&B management are required; English fluency and US work

Qualifications

• College degree in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent required.
• Two to three years of experience in multiple food & beverage management positions.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Legal work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline F&B staff to meet cultural and service standards.
• Lead in-restaurant operations, manage guest relations and respond to complaints and special requests.
• Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an upscale dining environment.
• Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control.
• Monitor facilities and equipment and recommend improvements as needed.

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager who will ensure every guest enjoys the highest level of service, creating unforgettable dining experiences that make them feel truly valued. This individual will set a high standard of excellence, guiding the team to consistently exceed expectations and deliver exceptional service in every interaction.

What you will do

Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, supervisors and assistant managers in the Hotel's Food & Beverage Outlets to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met long-range strategic planning for outlet operation.

The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.

Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control.

Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.

What you bring

College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required.

Two to three years previous experience in multiple food & beverage management positions.

Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
