Food & Beverage Manager
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all aspects of the F&B outlet's operations, maintaining profitability, and ensuring high-quality products and service levels. The role involves marketing ideas to promote business, reducing employee turnover, managing revenue and payroll budgets, and meeting productivity targets while maintaining quality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of daily outlet operations.
- Supervise outlet personnel.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints.
- Coordinate with other F&B managers and inform them of issues.
- Keep superiors fully informed of problems requiring attention.
- Assist in loss prevention monitoring.
- Prepare and submit reports timely, including wage progress, payroll, revenue, employee schedules, and quarterly action plans.
- Monitor service quality.
- Assist in menu planning and preparation.
- Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health, and sanitation regulations.
- Follow SOPs and requisition procedures.
- Be visible on the floor and assist staff during meal periods.
- Conduct staff performance reviews.
- Train employees on SOPs and technical tasks.
- Participate in departmental and hotel training programs.
- Interview candidates and follow hiring standards.
- Complete tip reporting.
- Implement corporate promotions and standards.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
