Job description

THIS IS AN OVERTIME ELIGIBLE MANAGER (OEM) POSITION.

Manage, administer, direct, and control the smooth, friendly, and efficient operation of the restaurant and/or room service discipline. Responsibilities include staffing, maintaining high sanitation standards, and ensuring compliance with all standards, policies, and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  1. Know all emergency procedures.
  2. Supervise, guide, and train all restaurant/room service employees to perform their duties effectively.
  3. Schedule, evaluate, and direct all direct reports.
  4. Maintain open communication between management and employees.
  5. Provide disciplinary action when necessary.
  6. Equip employees with the necessary tools and equipment.
  7. Participate in:
  • Monthly department meetings
  • Property MOD programs
  • Weekly staff meetings
  • Weekly restaurant, room service, and lounge meetings
  • Monthly food and supplies inventory
  • Oversee all functions of the Restaurant Supervisor and hourly personnel.
  • Address problems promptly.
  • Maintain sanitation levels and operational standards.
  • Care for, handle, and store restaurant equipment properly.
  • Forecast and control payroll effectively.
  • Ensure prompt, professional guest service.
  • Report daily issues to the Food & Beverage Director and utilize resources to maximize profits.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for accounting and other departments accurately.
  • Contribute to achieving sales, labor, and expense cost goals.
  • Interview and hire new staff as needed.
  • Review and approve evaluations, hires, transfers, warnings, counseling, and terminations.
  • Evaluate staff performance periodically.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism.
  • Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform cash handling procedures accurately.
  • Circulate during peak hours to greet and engage with guests.
  • Enforce alcohol awareness policies.
  • Flexible schedule required!

    Qualifications Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years in food & beverage management
    • Minimum of 2 years beverage experience
