Description

THIS IS AN OVERTIME ELIGIBLE MANAGER (OEM) POSITION.

Manage, administer, direct, and control the smooth, friendly, and efficient operation of the restaurant and/or room service discipline. Direct staffing based on business volume and needs. Maintain high sanitation standards and ensure compliance with all standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Duties

1. Know all emergency procedures.
2. Supervise, guide, and train all restaurant/room service employees.
3. Schedule, evaluate, and direct all direct reports.
4. Maintain open communication between management and employees.
5. Provide disciplinary actions when necessary.
6. Provide employees with necessary tools and equipment.
7. Participate in department meetings, property MOD programs, staff meetings, and inventory.
8. Oversee all functions of the Restaurant Supervisor and hourly personnel.
9. Address problems promptly in the restaurant.
10. Maintain sanitation and operational standards.
11. Manage restaurant equipment care and storage.
12. Handle forecasting and payroll controls.
13. Ensure prompt, professional guest service.
14. Report daily issues to Food & Beverage Director.
15. Complete necessary paperwork for accounting and other departments.
16. Share accountability for sales, labor, and expense goals.
17. Interview and hire staff as needed.
18. Review evaluations, hires, transfers, warnings, and terminations.
19. Evaluate staff performance periodically.
20. Maintain high standards of professionalism.
21. Follow company SOPs.
22. Perform cash handling procedures accurately.
23. Greet guests during peak hours.
24. Enforce alcohol awareness policies.
