Position Overview: The Food & Beverage Manager leads the food and beverage service staff across various facilities including restaurants, lounges/bars, and banquets. This role ensures top guest service, oversees operations during business hours, maintains a clean and safe environment, and meets financial goals for sales and expenses.

Essential Functions
- Manage service aspects in all food and beverage areas and events
- Oversee dining rooms, lounges, bars, and catering to ensure proper setup
- Ensure staff are in proper uniform and adhere to appearance standards
- Hire, manage, and train staff
- Create and communicate weekly staff schedules
- Coordinate with staff regarding reservations and events
- Conduct pre-shift and pre-event meetings
- Evaluate staff performance and manage disciplinary actions
- Perform rounds to ensure guest needs are met
- Handle employee relations and review incidents
- Complete employee performance appraisals
- Manage inventories and daily sales reports
- Open and close outlets as scheduled
- Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as scheduled
- Control costs and monitor budgets and labor costs
- Identify sales opportunities and train staff on upselling
- Ensure safety and sanitation policies are followed
- Address guest inquiries and feedback to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate on menu creation and pricing
- Coordinate with other departments for events and staffing
- Uphold company standards and policies
- Attend all necessary meetings
- Ensure efficient in-room dining and reservation system operation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and build teams
- Proven track record in increasing responsibility in hospitality management
Physical Demands
- Stand for long periods, handle objects, reach, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Work with chemicals and food products in various environments
- Operate under stressful situations
Qualifications
- Current food handler’s and alcohol service certifications
- Minimum 3 years management experience in hospitality
- High school diploma required; some college preferred
