Dutch Wonderland Inn in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Lead Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations and lead a team focused on exceptional guest service. You will coach staff, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and manage scheduling, training, and performance processes.

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Prior supervisory experience and ServSafe or equivalent certification are preferred, with onboarding support provided if

Qualifications

• No formal education requirements for this position.
• 1-2 years of previous work experience in a restaurant setting.
• 1+ years of previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be Food Handler Safety Certified (ServSafe or similar) or obtain certification within 90 days of hire where required by state/local guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily restaurant operations and any other assigned departments.
• Coach and mentor team members; maintain a team-centric environment.
• Ensure professional staff appearance and uniform compliance.
• Know all restaurant positions and step in when needed (food prep, dining, bar, banquet).
• Oversee hiring, orientation, training, performance coaching, and discipline.
• Ensure breaks comply with PA law and assist with scheduling/timekeeping.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and promptly address requests and complaints.
• Enforce company, state, local policies and procedures; maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
• Adhere to ServSafe and regulatory standards; manage POS operations and documentation.
• Assist in quality control and uphold standards; motivate staff to deliver service excellence.
• Inspect facilities and equipment; escalate safety or maintenance issues as needed.
• Handle, label, stock, and store products including alcohol and chemicals.
• Support catering and banquet events when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
