Job summary

Target is hiring for a Food & Beverage Expert in our stores to deliver a friendly guest experience and ensure freshness, stock, and accurate signage on the sales floor. You will learn and apply Target’s standards, process orders, and assist with replenishment and guest service during fast-paced shifts.

Role requires 18+ and a welcoming attitude; prior food experience is a plus. Flexible schedules, safety compliance, and teamwork are essential across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only).
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting and assisting guests.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience during all hours of operations.
• Follow food safety requirements and Target policies.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Present and maintain in-store displays and backroom organization.
