Job summary

Target is seeking a Food & Beverage Expert to deliver a friendly guest experience, assist guests, and uphold food safety standards on the sales floor. You will support a fast-paced team and help with replenishment, merchandising, and signing across Food & Beverage areas.

The role emphasizes guest service, adaptability to varying shifts, and compliance with safety policies while maintaining accuracy and warmth in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age (Bakery Only).
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests and assist with finding items or resolving issues.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers as needed.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience during all operating hours.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including replenishment, signing and inventory routines.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target policies and procedures.
• Work with vendors to maintain displays and organize backroom space.
• Comply with safety policies and training and report hazards.
