Job summary

Target is hiring a Food & Beverage Expert to deliver a friendly, guest‑focused experience in a fast‑paced store environment. You will greet guests, assist with locating items, resolve questions, and ensure accuracy in replenishment and signing while upholding safety and food standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends. Previous food or grocery experience is a plus, with training provided to build essential skills.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age (Bakery Only)
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft zones
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, prioritizing the guest’s needs over tasks
