Job summary

Target is hiring a Food & Beverage Expert in California to help guests with a friendly, helpful experience and maintain fresh, properly signed merchandise across the sales floor.

You will greet guests, assist with finding products, process transactions politely and support a fast-paced team while following food safety standards. This role offers ongoing training and opportunities to develop new skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests at the 10ft and 4ft zones with a friendly, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Deliver a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations.
