Job summary

San Francisco-Marin Food Bank is seeking a Class B Driver at our San Francisco facility to support deliveries and pickups for partners and pantries in San Francisco and Marin counties. This full-time role requires a valid California Class B license with air brake endorsement, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to our mission to end hunger.

You will use a tablet for routing, communicate with Dispatch, and assist with daily warehouse duties.

Qualifications

You are a professional driver with a valid California Class B Driver's License with air brake endorsement.
You can interact well with staff and volunteers from diverse backgrounds.
You are a good communicator, reporting to Dispatch throughout the day.
You can lift up to 50 pounds.
You are passionate about ending hunger and care for SF-Marin Food Bank equipment.

Responsibilities

Drive Food Bank trucks to make prompt deliveries and pickups for partners and pantries in San Francisco and Marin counties.
Use issued electronic Tablet for routing and cell phones for Dispatch communication.
Perform daily warehouse duties including receiving, storage, agency orders, salvage, and produce sorting.
Maintain vehicle maintenance logs and ensure a clean, organized facility.
Monitor equipment condition and maintain logs and safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned and maintain a clean driving record.
