Job summary

The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank is seeking a Class B Driver to support deliveries and pickups for partners and pantries in San Francisco and Marin counties. You will drive food bank vehicles, perform daily warehouse tasks, and help ensure accurate paperwork and documentation.

Requirements include a valid California Class B Driver’s License with air brake endorsement, at least 1 year of local driving experience, and strict adherence to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid California Class B Driver’s License with air brake endorsement.
• At least 1 year of driving experience in the San Francisco area.
• Must comply with Federal Motor Carrier and DOT regulations.
• Clean driving record and safety-conscious.
• Attendance at required training and safety meetings.

Responsibilities

• Drive San Francisco food bank vehicles to fulfill donation pickups and deliveries.
• Complete related paperwork and route/dispatch communications.
• Perform daily warehouse duties including receiving, storage, and order pulling.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment logs and conduct routine maintenance checks.
• Assist with safety and cleanliness of the facility as needed.
