Job summary

The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank is hiring a full-time Warehouse and Delivery Driver Class A at our Miramar location in San Diego, CA. This role oversees shipping, receiving, loading and unloading, operates forklifts and delivery vehicles, and ensures accurate distribution of food products.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of logistics/warehouse experience with driving deliveries, and a valid CA Class A license. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience in logistics and warehouse work and driving deliveries.
• Valid CA Class A driver’s license; ability to obtain forklift certification; bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventories for programs and manage warehouse operations.
• Receive, store and maintain inventory; verify items against bills of lading; pull and load orders.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse; rotate stock; perform cycle counts; dispose of trash and pallets; ensure storage security.
• Perform physical inventories and reconcile acquisitions, issues and balances on hand.
• Load trucks and deliver to distribution sites; assist with off-loading at sites.
• Operate forklifts, vans and trucks; conduct safety inspections; perform minor repairs.
• Maintain warehouse records and provide back-up for other functions.
• Other duties as assigned.
