Job description

Job Description

Supporting the culinary and food operations department with daily administrative duties, research, data management, and coordination of equipment and supplies for ships upon request from shipboard and shore management.

Essential Functions :

  1. Coordinate galley and other F & B equipment repairs with ships, vendors, and Centergate, including repair programs for galley equipment such as induction ovens, woks, stick blenders, etc. Track warranties and repair contracts.
  2. Maintain general galley equipment logs submitted regularly by each ship.
  3. Assist in developing and preparing training materials, including internet research, creating presentations, ordering supplies, and ensuring readiness at scheduled times.
  4. Maintain and update the Ships Event Calendar, schedule meetings and events.
  5. Prepare requisitions in the iProcurement system for the food department (both office and shipboard) and maintain an organized filing system. Prepare requisitions in the InfoShip system for onboard services, set up new vendors in the Global Supply system, process invoices through MarkView, and follow up on payments.
  6. Support travel arrangements, including schedules, mileage expenses, T&E statements, and other reimbursement forms.
  7. Maintain and update Food Service Procedures on the Global Hess Safety Management System.
  8. Maintain and update menus in the FSS (Fun Sail System) and edit menu information in Adobe InDesign. Print menus, forms, and other requested materials.

Qualifications :

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in administrative responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe CSS and InDesign.

Physical Demands : Must be able to remain seated at a desk/computer for extended periods and move throughout CCL facilities as needed.

Travel : Minimal or no shore-based travel.

Work Conditions : Primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety hazards.

The hourly salary range is $18.00 - $23.07. Offers will be based on skills and experience.
