Job summary

Digital Room LLC in Van Nuys, CA is hiring for a Folder Operator on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 1:30pm-10pm). This full-time hourly position offers pay ranging from $19 to $21 per hour and opportunities to work on a busy bindery floor.

You will operate the folding machine, set up for bifold and trifold jobs, monitor quality, document production data in the IMS system, and help maintain a safe, efficient workplace.

Responsibilities

• Access IMS program to determine priority jobs and set the workload for the day.
• Place printed jobs on the folding machine and set up to make bifold, trifold, according to job specifications.
• Observe the folding machine while running to make any adjustments and ensure a smooth and accurate fold run.
• Replace worn-out rubber stoppers and adjust to ensure an accurate fold, using hand tools when required.
• Record production and operational data using IMS system, such as entering completed jobs.
• Report all workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards.
• Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
• Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.

We are actively hiring for the position of Folder Operator for our plant in Van Nuys, CA.

Shift: 2 nd - Mon-Fri – 1:30pm-10pm

Pay: $19-21
