Job summary

Digital Room in Van Nuys, CA is hiring a Folder Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 1:30pm-10pm). The role requires operating the folding machine, setting up for bifold/trifold, and maintaining quality folds. You will use the IMS system to manage workload and record production data.

Pay ranges from $19 to $21 per hour. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and be willing to overtime as needed. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), and more.

• Ability to use hand/power tools and use them safely.

• Ability to recognize safety issues and take corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Access IMS program to determine priority jobs and set the workload for the day.
• Place printed jobs on the folding machine and set up to make bifold, trifold, according to job specifications.
• Observe the folding machine while running to make any adjustments and ensure a smooth and accurate fold run.
• Replace worn-out rubber stoppers and adjust to ensure an accurate fold, using hand tools when required.
• Record production and operational data using IMS system, such as entering completed jobs.
• Report all workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and free of safety hazards.
• Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
• Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.
