Job summary

Midwest Direct is seeking a detail-oriented Folder Operator at our Corporate Headquarters in Cleveland, OH. You will set up, operate, and maintain folding equipment to fold mail and print materials accurately and on schedule.

Base pay is $15–$22 per hour with a $500 sign-on bonus. The role includes benefits such as paid vacation and holidays, health and dental options, a 401k, and attendance bonuses. Must pass background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with folding equipment preferred in print/mail environments.
• Ability to read and follow detailed job specifications and diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills and teamwork in a deadline-driven setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate folding machines according to job specs.
• Read work orders and folding diagrams to determine fold types.
• Perform makeready, adjusting plates, rollers, and guides for stock sizes.
• Monitor folding quality and correct misfeeds or misfolds.
• Conduct quality checks and maintain production records.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on folding equipment.
• Ensure clean, safe, organized work area and collaborate with team.
