Digital Room in Brooklyn, OH is hiring a Folder Operator to join our folding team. You will set up the folding machine, manage the day’s workload in the IMS system, and ensure precise folds according to each job specification.

Work involves monitoring the machine, making adjustments for quality, replacing worn parts, and recording production data. The role requires safety awareness, attention to detail, and effective communication with the Press Operator.

Responsibilities

• Access IMS program to determine priority jobs and set the workload for the day.
• Place printed jobs on the folding machine and set up to make bifold, tri-folds per specs.
• Observe the folding machine while running and adjust for smooth, accurate folds.
• Replace worn-out rubber stoppers and adjust to ensure accurate folds with hand tools.
• Record production and operational data in the IMS system.
• Report workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure equipment, tools and workstations are in good condition and safe.
• Be available for required overtime based on business needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
