Job summary

Engage Print in Northfield, MN, a long-standing commercial printer, seeks a bindery operator focused on folding. The role involves running an MBO folder, operating a Mark IV saddle stitcher, and managing hand bindery tasks to produce brochures, booklets, flyers, and direct mail.

You will also handle shipping/receiving, inventory, and maintain high quality standards. The position offers full-time hours with compensation of $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, plus benefits including 401(k), 401(k)

Qualifications

• Aptitude for working with complex machines.
• Experience in a printing environment preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mark IV saddle stitcher, MBO folder, Polar Cutter, and other hand bindery equipment.
• Operate machines that cut and trim printed materials along prescribed lines.
• Read instructions to determine how a job should be run.
• Repair or replace broken machinery parts.
• Deliver jobs to customers.
• Receive stock and maintain inventory.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards by placing trash in the proper receptacles and keeping work areas clear of clutter.
